Hello, my name is Regina Fultz. I am a Special Education major working on an MSD certification. I am also going to be able to teach p-5 with an emphasis in math k-12.
After getting a feel for the class tonight I really think I am going to enjoy it.
I currently work with a blind student and am learning braille. This student was normal until Feb. 2007 when she received sudo tumors behind her eyes due to a medication she was given by a quack doctor. She is going to be leaving shortly to go to KSB (Kentucky School for the Blind.) For those whom may not know, braille is very challenging but I tend to give it my all and help this student to succeed as long as I am going to be working with her.
I have worked in special education as an assistant for this is my 19th year. I have witnessed so much negativity from classroom professionals that it isn't even funny. As a matter of fact it is very very sad to see the amount of teachers who are actually what I would call SO CALLED TEACHERS.
My motto is and always will be: EVERY CHILD CAN LEARN NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE. SOME MAY JUST NEED THAT EXTRA LOVE AND ATTENTION. Guess that's enough for this blog.
